Publications

The OCS publishes a quarterly Newsletter and periodically a Bulletin. Newsletters keep members in regular touch with the Society; they provide brief summaries of recent activities and diarise forthcoming activities both local and overseas.

Bulletins reproduce full texts with illustrations of selected OCS lectures which have not been published elsewhere; they also contain reports from the President and lively illustrated essays of OCS tours.

The current Bulletin, Number 13, includes essays on Daoist arts, Chinese Buddhist textiles, the Silk Road, Qing Dynasty biscuit ceramic wares, Ming Dynasty trade ceramics, Chinese monochrome ceramics, dragon iconography in Chinese textiles, Chinese brown and black glazed wares and the B��n religion of Tibet.
