Appreciation evenings
"Show and tell" evenings are a popular activity, in which members can bring artefacts and artworks for evaluation and discussion by a panel of experts. Topics range widely from jade, ceramics, lacquer, textiles and bronze to bamboo, wood and other media.
Membership Meetings
The OCS holds membership gatherings at which members can socialise and bring along their friends. At the AGM, the events of the previous year and accounts are reviewed, the Executive Committee is elected for the coming year and the President announces new initiatives for the Society. |
